This well known and marvelous Brain teaser puzzle contains 7 nonidentical wooden pieces and a box. Was Invented by a Danish mathmatician, Piet Hein in 1936.
There are 240 different ways to build a solid cube. Arches , walls , plinths, towers, ships, etc. can also be created from the Soma Cube. Soma Cube addicts claim that after gaining some familiarity with the pieces, they speed up their solving enormously.
Providing children with a Soma Cube gives them an excellent way of nurturing their grasp of spatial relationships.
